Shampoo only in the scalp!

Why is this so important?

When the shampoo is added, it should only be applied to the scalp, it should not be worked into the entire hair. The task of shampoo is to clean the scalp from dirt, oil, sweat and products. These substances tend to accumulate in the scalp and can clog the hair follicles, leading to problems such as dandruff, itching and an unhealthy scalp. By applying the shampoo to the scalp, you effectively remove the impurities. As the shampoo lathers on the scalp, it naturally runs down the length of the hair when you rinse it out. This is usually enough to clean the rest of your hair.

Minimize dryness

Applying shampoo only to the scalp and roots can help prevent over-drying of the ends which would otherwise lead to frizz. Overuse of shampoo strips away the natural oils that help keep your hair healthy and shiny.

If you have specific concerns or use a particular type of shampoo, it's a good idea to consult with a hair care professional or your hairdresser for personalized guidance.
